Blue Bronna offers a free retreat for women who are on a church staff, missionaries, parachurch organizations who are in full or part-time Christian ministry as well as the spouses of men who are in ministry. We are located in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta

Need a break from your cell phone, the emails and the city? Want to experience for yourself what it’s like to camp at Blue Bronna before you tell your congregation about us? Come let us guide you in three days of fun activities in God’s creation where you can find rest and be refreshed. Led by program facilitators, you will participate in the following activities:

• Hiking
• Canoeing
• Rock Climbing
• Rappelling
• Campfire Cooking
• Horseback Riding
• Campfires

Enjoy the company of others who walk through similar joys and trials of ministry. This camp is located at our Willow Creek site. This remote site has enough amenities to be comfortable, however, we leave the luxuries behind. This camp is located at our Willow Creek site where you will stay in cabins, wall tents or you can bring your own trailer. This site has all the amenities that a family could need including indoor plumbing at our washhouse, showers and covered eating and campfire areas.

There is no cell nor internet service. We do though have a satellite phone for emergency purposes.

Free pick up is available from the Airport.

Is this a structured weekend with planned activities? Or more of a free-time weekend? We have planned activities times that are optional but also set meal and session times with our speaker.

Are we responsible for bringing and cooking our own food? No all food is provided

Is there any cost associated? Is a free love offering taken? No cost at all

Would I be able to bring 3 or 4 ladies with me (that are p/t ministry helpers as well)? Yes, for sure, it is for full time and part time workers

Is a moderate level of fitness required for walking/trails etc.? Moderate, yes
