Family Camps at Willow Creek

Dates Available

We are open for families to come 7 days a week. You will need to stay from either a Sunday to Thursday or a Thursday to Sunday. Those able to come for all of the specified days will be given first shot - those that can come Thurs to Sun as opposed to those who can only come Fri - Sun. We have 5 cabins for rent. The other 3 of the 8 families will need to be those who have trailers.

The dates below will change as we book up and we will not be updating these dates on the website.

You will be contacted by the camp registrar if you are registered or if you need to pick other dates or shorten your stay.

For the most part Willow Creek is open to families from July 30th to Aug 25th. There are some dates in there where there will be no food services, horses nor climbing and we will endeavor to have a speaker for chapels. These dates will be found on the registration form on the site.

Location

12kms down Hwy 532 south of Longview

This camp is located at our Willow Creek site where you will stay in cabins, wall tents, or you can bring your own trailer. This site has all the amenities that a family could need including indoor plumbing at our washhouse, showers and covered eating and campfire areas. Come enjoy the company of your family, build relationships with other families, encounter God through dynamic teaching and worship times and build memories that will last.

We will be renting out the camp to 8 families at a time to come and enjoy some great time as a family.

Cost

$200 per day (24 hour period) maximum per family of 5. So the maximum costs work out to:

  • $600.00 to stay Thurs to Sun and $800.00 max Sun to Thurs for 5 people.
  • $25 per family member after that, kids under 5 are free

1) Package 1 - All-inclusive package which includes all accommodations, food and activities.

2) Package 2 – Combo – you can choose which meals you want out of our kitchen and which ones you will cook at your trailer or Cabin and you can choose which activities you will do.

3) Package 3 – you can cook all your own meals at your trailer or outside of your cabin. You can choose which activities you will do.

Cost Breakdowns:

$60 per night per family for a cabin or to bring your own trailer/tent

Food $7 for Breakfast, $8 for lunch and $10 for supper - all per person.

Activities: Horses and Rock Climbing $25 per person per time, canoeing and archery $10.00 per person per time. All other activities are free.

Minimum cost is $75 per family per day if that family does no activites and does their own food.

Activities

Horseback riding, real rock climbing and rappelling, canoeing and kayaking, archery, hiking in the mountains, axe throwing, games, family cookouts, and Chapels twice a day.

Accommodations

Rent a cabin or bring your own trailer. The cabins have 5 bunk beds and either a double bed or two single beds. They have lights and heat but no washroom facilities. There is a washhouse in the main building which has full bathrooms and showers.

Food Services

Cook your own food at your trailer, over a fire, use our food services or a combo of both.

If you use our Food Services, you are served your food in our kitchen and then you eat outside as a family at a large round table under a tarped area.

Arrivals and Departures

Arrival time is at 4:00pm or later on your first day.

Departure time is by 2:00pm on your last day.

Sundays and Mondays

Our staff have off from Sunday at 2:00pm to Tuesday at 7:00am. There are no Food Services during this time. We have fire rings as well as a BBQ that you can use. We will have a wash station available as well as our picnic tables.

Activities available during this time include: canoeing and kayaking, archery, hiking in the mountains, axe throwing, sports equipment and a host of activities that you can do as a family - GaGa Ball pit, Darts, Hike Cougar Hill, Sports equipment - Lacrosse, soccer, football, baseball, Frisbee,etc, Crafts, Table games and more.

There are no chapel services Sunday evening nor at anytime on Monday. There is a camp host available these two days to get you set up with what you need.

Weekend Rentals

These dates are also available for you to rent a cabin or to bring your own trailer.

During these dates, there will be no food services, horses nor climbing as well as no speaker for chapels. These weekends go from Thurs or Fri at 7:00pm and to Sunday at 2:00pm. We have fire rings as well as a BBQ that you can use. We will have a wash station available as well as our picnic tables.
